OPPO seems to be seeking to consolidate its gap in the mid-range with 5G and tighter prices, seeing that they now present the new OPPO K7x . A mobile with a configuration that sounds familiar to us, but in which some points stand out that are not always abundant in the mid-range (or high).
It is a twin mobile of the OPPO K7 5G that we saw in August, although while the former was characterized by its thinness, this one does so by including a large battery . They also push the screen further and there are slight changes to the design, so let’s see its features.

Betting on high refresh rates
The back of the OPPO K7x remains fashionable and in addition to being curved on the sides, it integrates a domino-style camera module in one corner. The screen is inserted into seemingly thin frames (with the lower chin), opting for a hole for the front camera .
This panel is a 6.5-inch IPS , adding the refresh rate of up to 90 Hz . The resolution is FullHD +, very correct for a mid-range, and the touch sampling rate is 180 Hz (also above the current average).
A hefty battery for 5G and whatever comes up
In OPPO mobiles we see alternation of processors in relation to Qualcomm and MediaTek. In this case, the second is chosen, integrating a Dimensity 720 , a mid-range processor that also supports 5G that we mentioned.
At the memory level, there is a single combination of 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage , without the option of expanding with microSD. What it does have is an audio minijack.
As for the battery, the OPPO K7x is more ambitious and we see a 5,000 mAh battery , which without being a record is placed among the highest capacity. From this manufacturer we always expect an incentive in fast charging and in this case it does not disappoint on paper by incorporating support for fast charging VOOC 4.0 up to 30 W, being compatible with reverse charging.
Speaking of the cameras there is little surprise, seeing that in this, unlike on drums, they have been more conformist. The OPPO K7x has four rear cameras with the following scheme (including the front one):
- 48 megapixel main sensor.
- Ultra wide angle with 8 megapixel sensor.
- Macro with 2 megapixel sensor.
- 2 megapixel monochrome sensor for portraits.
- Front camera: 16 megapixel sensor.
Versions and prices of the OPPO K7x
For now, the OPPO K7x has been presented in China and we know the data for that market. As we have said, there will be a single version with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage and the starting price is 1,499 yuan, about 191 euros to change .
The sale will begin in this country on November 11 and there will be an initial discount period, starting at 1,399 yuan (178 euros). It will be available in black and blue, if it arrives in Europe we will update this information.
